This pendant sets a round malachite panel into a bezel setting, then surrounds it with a full halo of small pavé stones. Where a claw setting leaves the stone's edges bare, the bezel here holds the malachite securely all the way round, letting the halo take over the job of catching the light instead. The banding sweeps diagonally across the stone in bold, sweeping lines, unique to this particular piece of malachite.
The pavé halo adds a fuller, more finished look than a single-stone setting, framing the malachite rather than leaving it exposed. Finished in gold-plated sterling silver, it's a step up in presence from a plain bezel pendant, without losing the natural stone as the main event.
