At 10mm, this larger scale gives the design real presence, letting the deep red centre stone command attention while still keeping the formal, symmetrical shape that makes this style so recognisable.
The contrast between the deep red centre and the crisp white halo is what makes the design work; the zirconia stones catch and throw light constantly, drawing the eye straight to the bold red stone they surround.
