This pendant sets a gold grid lattice directly over a full mother of pearl disc, dividing the stone into a basket-weave pattern of small squares rather than leaving it as one continuous surface. Each square shows its own variation in the stone's natural marbling, so the piece reads as a mosaic rather than a single flat inlay.
The chain carries small beaded stations at intervals along its length, adding texture beyond a plain cable link. The length is adjustable, allowing it to be shortened or extended as needed.
