Each earring is set with a genuine amethyst, cut in a heart shape and finished with a checkerboard facet pattern that gives the stone real depth; light catches across the grid of tiny facets rather than one flat surface, so the purple deepens and brightens as it moves. A twisted rope-textured border frames each heart, with small claw prongs securing the stone at each point.
The rope detailing around the edge gives these studs a slightly vintage, jewellery-box character, while the amethyst itself provides genuine colour and clarity — no two stones are perfectly identical, so each pair carries its own subtle natural variation.
